The pendant appertains to the type of the Balkan jewellery emerged around the middle of the 19th century and remained popular until the middle of the 20th century. This jewellery is distinguished by the combination of the newly adopted latest Western European stiles and the traditional local crafting techniques, such as filigree and granulation. Thus the intrinsic style was created, at first in the urban environment where jewelers were more open to various influences. Hence the style can be identified as urban style. Thereafter the new style was adopted in the rural environment, reflecting on the ethnographic jewellery too.

The pendant is made in silver, in filigree technique, in elaborated and meticulous manner. It is in a shape of a flower with each petal filled with very delicate filigree and with central smaller flower applied with one silver pellet (or grain). The loop of the pendant is original and it is also made in refined filigree.

According to the style it can be dated in 1930’ – 1940’.

The silver pendant is newly applied with 24ctr gold coat.
