WMF Three-Light Candelabra

The large candelabra with round base and baluster stem entirely covered with minutely made engine turned decoration and engraved foliage motives and volutes. The upper part is detachable. It is in a shape of highly elaborated foliage scrolls forming opulent sconces holding three nozzles with drip pans with engine turned decoration. The base is stamped with the WMF hallmark, positioned near the rim.
The candelabrum is made in Historicism style reflecting Baroque taste, very popular among the high middle class during the 19th century.
